Welcome to life on a farm in the Valley of Svågan which is located on one of the most beautiful parts of Sweden, close to Delsbo. There are a variety of activities available to you in the area during your stay at the farmhouse, and the landscape offers unbeatable sceneries and many magnificent sights and walks.  We are sure that your stay will be both pleasurable and relaxing for you for you.

Musical gatherings during the summer

An excursion to the Valley of Svågan will give you wonderful views in a tranquil setting, Lake Dellen; the view over the lake Dellen from the Mountain Avholm, which is often shown on picture postcards and on the television, is spectacular. The mountain is situated to the north and in the neighbourhood of Friggesund.
Lake Greentarn (Gröntjärn) is the wooden, deep lake with its clear, magical, green water. 
Then there is the strangely formed ridge of sand, "Ironhat", (Järnhatt) and the fjelds regions Skån and Valsjön. All are well worth a visit.
 Just below the farm the river Svågan flows by with opportunities for fishing and swimming. Also, canoes can be hired so why not take canoe-cruise in the river?
Approximate 4 miles from the farm there is a lake with a jetty, which is a suitable and safe area for children to swim
If your interest is horses then you can trek over the beautiful countryside on Icelandic horses, or alternatively you can become a cowboy for a the day. We will help with the booking of both activities.
In Ängebo there is a miniaturegolf course.

The beautiful and varied countryside offers the possibilities for picking strawberries, lingo berries, cloudberries and arctic raspberries, depending on season, or just go mushrooming in the vast forest, close to the farm. After all this activity, why not just relax and take in the tranquillity of the farm surroundings, view the various farm animals and wild fowl strolling around the pastures, listen to the sparkling of the open fireplace. In the evening, you can then barbeque in peaceful surroundings. The Farmhouse is equipped with 8 + 2 beds in 5 bedrooms (bedding not included), a kitchen with a fire-place together with an electrical stove, refrigerator and freeze and, a bathroom with shower, washing machine and WC, and a living room with a TV-video, open fireplace, Internet, an extra bed for a child and plenty of toys to keep your children occupied.
